What customers say?

“ Absolutely the BEST burger experience in Osaka!! We tried the Need Farms JUKU sustainable Wagyu burger and it was on a whole different level the patty was so juicy, rich in flavor and literally melted in the mouth. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. The bun, the sauce, everything was just perfect. The staff were incredible too super friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in. Their service alone deserves 100/100! The vibe of the place is cozy yet premium, and you can tell they put passion into what they do. ”

“ We came all the way from Kyoto just to try GUI’s Burger. Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. Flavor and quality are unmatched. They offer different kinds of wagyu for every burger, and even the bacon is wagyu — insanely delicious and rich without being greasy. Every bite was perfect. The staff was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and you can really tell they put love into their food. If you’re in the area or even if you’re not, make this a must-stop. It’ a great experience. ”

“ Hands down the BEST burger I have had in my life, and boy I had more than you could ever count. The second I took the first bite I immediately ordered the next one. Me and my friends were having a blast. Definitely worth getting there from Osaka if you are a real burger fans. ”

“ Delicious. Best burger we have had in Japan. Bar none. Super friendly service. Lovely Brazilian/Japanese gentlemen showing and explaining the stunning high quality ingredients. I had the matsusaka beef burger. Double. Apparently, The first customer to do a double and it was well worth it. I'd even go triple next time. My partner had the crispy potato burger. Stunning burger. Everything is tasty here!! Dont sleep on this place. Highly recommended. ”

“ Had a great time at Gui's Burger with Gui and his awesome team! I tried the Sugimoto Burger and the Bacon Burger—both were absolutely amazing creations. The flavors were spot on, and you can really tell there's passion behind every bite. We also really appreciated Gui's recommendations for steak in Kobe—super helpful and made our trip even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! ”

“ I went to Gui’s Burger in Ashiya with my wife, and this was hands down one of the best food experiences I’ve had in Japan. We shared the Wagyu Cheeseburger, the Wagyu Bacon Burger, and the Guga Special Smashburger, and wow, that Guga Smashburger was honestly the best smashburger I’ve ever had in my life. The crust, the juiciness, the flavor, absolutely unforgettable. The other burgers were excellent too, but that smashburger stole the show. And the fries… I’ve never eaten fries like that anywhere before. Perfectly crisp, golden, and packed with flavor, they weren’t just a side dish, they were a highlight on their own. Two fun facts made this visit even more special: We originally decided to go after seeing Gui’s Burger featured on GugaFoods, so it was a really pleasant surprise to find the Guga Special Burger on the menu when we arrived. The owner, Gui, is Brazilian, and since my wife and I are of Portuguese descent, it was such a warm and unique experience to chat in our native language in Japan. Even better, two of the cooks are also Brazilian, which gave the whole place a welcoming, homey feeling. And a shoutout as well to the Spanish cook from Barcelona, it was fun to practice some Spanish too, and sorry for any mistakes I made. All in all, this was much more than just a meal. It was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had since coming to Japan, incredible food, lovely people, and a truly special atmosphere. If you are staying in Osaka or Kobe, making the trip to Ashiya just to try these burgers is definitely worth it. Like Guga always says, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend! ”
